We currently offer two types of traditional Russian Girevoy (Kettlebell) Sport Training Sessions. We can accommodate anyone at any fitness level.
Introductory Girevoy Sport Athletes Our beginning Girevoy Sport sessions are 30 minutes in length and focus on the technical aspects of Classic Style (Jerk & Snatch) and Long Cycle exercises. Advanced Girevoy Sport Athletes Our advanced Girevoy Sport sessions are 1 hour in length and focus on both the technical aspects of Classic Style (Jerk & Snatch) and Long Cycle exercises, as well as the strength and conditioning aspects that will make a Girevoy Sport Athlete stronger and more resilient. |

Complimentary lunches, coffee and water will be provided on all days. We will be providing you with Competition Certified Russian Giri (CCRG) to practice with at the workshop. CCRG's are not included in the price of the certification. You will be able to purchase Giri at the workshop at 10% discount. And if 3+ people from one company register, each will receive 10% off of the price for certification. If you're paying through PayPal include your unique code. Here's a few examples on how to calculate your Jerk and Snatch totals:If your goal is 21 total reps then you should Jerk about 11 reps and Snatch each hand 10 reps. Snatch counts 10+10 = 20, then divide by 2. Then just add your Jerk total (11 reps) plus your Snatch total (10 reps) = 21 total reps.
Another example, if you Jerked only 5 reps then you should snatch 32 reps (add left + right hand) and then divide it by 2 (32 / 2 = 16) which equals 16. So your final calculation would be 5 Jerks + 16 Snatches = 21 total reps. |
